Quad tour is definitely a completely new and exciting way to get to know Brač and explore the hidden paths and untouched nature.
Before we start, our experienced guide will introduce you with the vehicle and safety rules.
When we are all set, our route is ready to start. First we will go to the bay of Lovrečina known for its large sandy beach and valuable archeological sites. A 4 km long macadam road takes us from Postira to the bay. In the shade of trees and plants, the seaside ride is especially enjoyable and on the way to the first destination we pass several bays and an outdoor gym.
After a short stop in Lovrečina, we continue our journey towards the inland of the island. The 778 meters high, Vidova Gora offers a spectacular view of the famous Bol beach Zlatni rat, the islands of Vis, Hvar and Korcula. With a bit of luck and good wind, the view sometimes even reaches Italy. For those in love Vidova gora is often the ideal place for a fateful "yes" and with a little imagination you can shoot the best selfie.
From Vidova Gora we descend towards unique Brač desert called Blaca. It is considered a desert because of its sparse nature and along the steep cliff, deserted hermitages paved the church and monastery, residential and commercial buildings. The Blaca Desert, which was also an astronomical observatory, is a true natural and cultural phenomenon, as well as a valuable monument to human work and perseverance. With a short stop we will take a break and enjoy a beautiful view of the famous monastery and nearby island of Hvar.
The last stop of our tour is eco-ethno village Dol. At the entrance to the village there are caves made of grainy stone hrapočuša and the autochthonous cake was named after it. This quient and pieceful place is full of preserved traditional stone houses and ideal for anyone who likes to explore.
After a short drive through the village, we return to Postira.
