MILNA - BOL
One of the best ways to discover the island of Brač and its coast is definitely a boat ride. Hidden bays and beautiful beaches are the right places for a break and refreshment in the sea, especially during hot summer days.
Milna, the former main island port, today is a favorite nautical destination. It is surrounded by a large bay that has provided shelter to many ships during stormy weather. Beside many cultural sights, Milna is unique because of a small island of Mrduja located at the entrance of the harbor.
Definitely the most famous destination on Brač and the whole Croatian coast is Bol and its beach „Golden horn“, a natural phenomenon and a symbol of the Adriatic. For years pebbles from Vidova gora were falling down and together with the sea currents and the winds shaped this unique beach. Nowadays, under the influence of the waves „Golden horn“ often changes its shape.
