PUČIŠĆA - BOL
One of the best ways to discover the island of Brač and its coast is definitely a boat ride. Hidden bays and beautiful beaches are the right places for a break and refreshment in the sea, especially during hot summer days.
Pučišća is a place known from ancient times for its stone-clad culture. The harmony and unity of farmers houses and baroque buildings made from the whitewashed stone of Brač takes the breath of every visitor. The tradition of quarrying continues to this day in the Stonemasonry School, the only one in Croatia and this part of Europe.
Definitely the most famous destination on Brač and the whole Croatian coast is Bol and its beach „Golden horn“, a natural phenomenon and a symbol of the Adriatic. For years pebbles from Vidova gora were falling down and together with the sea currents and the winds shaped this unique beach. Nowadays, under the influence of the waves „Golden horn“ often changes its shape.
